OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational therapy aims to promote people’s health and well-being through participation in functional activities. Its main objective is to help people of all ages carry out everyday activities independently, by adapting their environment and teaching techniques that make it easier for them to perform daily tasks.

Occupational therapists work with people who have physical, mental, emotional, sensory or social difficulties that affect their ability to participate fully in daily life. This may include people with physical injuries, neurological disorders, developmental disorders, physical or mental disabilities, chronic illnesses, mental health problems, amongst others.
